ENTEBBE AND SORROUNDINGS
Entebbe is the gateway to Uganda by air and is situated on the Lake Victoria at 3800ft above sea level. It was also the first capital city of Uganda.
You will visit Uganda Wildlife Education Center, a miniature parade for all Uganda fauna and flora. Take your time here to know how the wild animals live, play, eat and communicate, and even make some friends with them. Don’t miss to catch the sight and sounds of the over 200 species of birds at the center.
The Uganda Wildlife Education center (UWEC) home to captive animals this has attracted over 170 species of wild birds 10 species of Weavers such as the rare Northern Masked Weaver, Northern Brown Throated, Golden Backed, Grosbeak, Black Necked, Baglafect, 5 species of flycatchers, Crested shrike flycatcher, Lead colored, Swamp flycatcher, African paradise, Red bellied etc, raptors such as the Gabber Goshawk, small banded snake Eagle, African Goshawk, African Fish Eagle, African Hobby etc and many more species including captive animals. Proceed to Entebbe Botanical gardens for another birding experience.
This tour can be done indepently or can be joined with any other package at any date either at the start or at the end.
